Here is the process for submitting a final grade for a student who is auditing your course.
When a student is auditing your course, you will follow the same steps to submit their final grades as a normal student. It does not matter what numeric value you give in the overall final grade area for that student, when the grades are transferred, an X will show up on their transcript.
There is one caveat to this, YOU CANNOT GIVE AN AUDITING STUDENT A ZERO. Giving them a zero will result in the student having an Incomplete on their transcript, even if they are auditing.
If you have been grading the student's work as they take the course, you can submit whatever grade they have accumulated. If not, you can give them any numeric grade other than zero.
Check within MySPC after 15 minutes (in the Faculty Center) to ensure the auditing student has been issued an X for audit.
