Insert a Link to a Webpage

This tutorial reviews creating a link to a web page within a module topic file. A link to a webpage can be added to any content that has the HTML editor available such as dropbox directions or feedback, quiz questions, etc.


Step-by-Step: 

  1. Click on the insert link imageinsert link icon.png on the HTML editor (This will be found in a Description, file, discussion, quiz, dropbox, etc.)
  2. Scroll down, click on Url
  3. Copy and Paste the Webpage link into URL*
  4. Enter a Title for the Link (This is what will show instead of the link that students will have to click on, you can add the address here also if you would like them to click on the actual address)
  5. Click on Insert
