MyCourses & Academic Technology Support Team Information

As a faculty member or adjunct at SPC, if you need assistance with the MyCourses (D2L) or Canvas LMS or any integrated system used, please refer to the following information to route your need to the appropriate support. Our dedicated technicians are available to take your calls and respond to emails.

Examples of Support Inquiries

Here are some examples of scenarios or issues we can address:

  • Course Content  assistance - we can either copy content into your course shells for you, provide instructions for you to copy your own content, or direct you to your Academic Department

  • Merging two online sections into one shell

  • Troubleshooting bugs, glitches, or other system misbehavior. We can report incidents to the Canvas helpdesk for further assistance

  • Provide step-by-step instructional guides to complete technical tasks

  • Help set up Zoom meetings within your Canvas course

  • Assistance troubleshooting gradebook issues and connecting learning activities like quizzes, discussions, and/or assignments.

  • Submitting final grades to SPC at the end of the term

  • Simple Syllabus Questions/Help 

  • Respondus LockDown Browser Help
  • Enrollment and withdrawal issues

  • Any question related to the technical management of your courses
