Introduction
This guide outlines the incomplete plan for faculty at St. Petersburg College. This plan began in Spring 2025, as we transitioned from D2L/MyCourses to Canvas LMS for Summer 2025. We have arranged this guide so the current phase is at the top, and we moved the previous phases of the plan at the bottom of the guide for your records.

Important Links for the Incomplete Process
Phase 4: Faculty-Led Completion of Incompletes in Canvas (July 2-December 12, 2025)
Phase 1: Faculty Documentation of Incompletes (May 2 – May 9, 2025) - Completed
Phase 2: Complete Incompletes in D2L (Until June 15, 2025) - Completed
Phase 3: Data Archiving & Course Migration (June 16 – July 1, 2025) - Completed

Final Ended Phase from the Migration:
Phase 4: Faculty-Led Completion of Incompletes in Canvas (July 2 – December 12, 2025)
- Faculty will determine when students should resume coursework in Canvas and will notify them accordingly.
- Faculty will review incomplete section of course and ensure that the necessary modules, assignments, discussions, and quizzes are unlocked, open, available, and assigned to the appropriate student.
- Faculty can retrieve grades & student work from K16 if needed for grading consistency.
- Faculty will have from July 2 – December 12 to monitor student progress and grade assignments.
- Students must complete all remaining coursework by December 5.
- Faculty must finalize and submit grades by December 12, 2025.
Key Communication:
- Faculty will notify students when the course is ready for them to resume work.
- September 15: Midway progress check reminder for students.
- November 1: Final reminder that coursework must be completed by December 5.
- December 12: Final grades must be submitted by this date
