• Quick Availability of Proctoring Results

    Respondus Monitor proctoring results are now available to instructors in less than 10 minutes, a reduction of about four hours from before.

  • Real-Time Analysis

    Real-time analysis has been added to Respondus Monitor sessions, enabling faster availability of proctoring results.

  • Post-Assessment Analysis

    Previously, proctoring video and data were analyzed only after an assessment ended. This method is still used when technical issues are detected during the exam session.

  • Handling Technical Issues

    If internet bandwidth or computer speed drops significantly during an online exam, Respondus Monitor will turn off the real-time analysis. This ensures more resources are available for the online exam itself. The proctoring analysis will then occur after the exam is complete.

  • Consistent Results

    The underlying algorithms are the same for both real-time and post-assessment analysis systems. This ensures consistent results across all test takers, providing reliable proctoring results.

By following these steps, faculty can understand how Respondus Monitor ensures quick and reliable proctoring results, even in the presence of technical issues during online exams.
