Students cannot use a Chromebook or iPad if their quiz is through Pearson - MyMathLab.
- Students will have to use a computer with Windows or macOS.

Chromebook extensions

Chromebook offers an extension for Chrome. In addition to the extension, you will also need to enable pop-up windows for MyCourses. Chromebooks by default have a security setting that prevents downloading other browsers.

Note: If your students have a Chromebook managed by a high-school or third party, they may not be able to install the extension or change your pop-up settings
IPad

If I want my students to be able to use an iPad, to take their quizzes and they are having issues what do I do?

What is the best way to title quizzes for LockDown Browser?

- Always avoid using words like Respondus LockDown Browser, or webcam in quiz titles.
- The title amendment in the LTI tool will change the title and a hyphen after it with the words - Requires Respondus LockDown Browser + Webcam.

If you see the error in the picture below, it is likely due to the titles you used to name your quizzes/exams. And, if you click the Fix It button, it won't automatically fix the error. You will need to rename your quiz/exam.
