The HTML Editor integrates with all Learning Environment tools that have HTML content creation capabilities. For example, the HTML Editor is available when you edit discussion topics, create custom instructions for Dropbox folders, and create content topics.
NOTE: This tutorial will show inserting a YouTube Video within a module file. Inserting a YouTube video will be added to any content that has the HTML editor available such as Dropbox directions or feedback, quiz questions, etc.
Step-by-Step:
- Within YouTube, in the Your Videos area, click on your video you would like to embed.
- Click on the Share button located just below the video.
- Click on Embed
- Click on Copy
- Open MyCourses, click on the New button, in the module you would like to place your video.
- Click on Create a file
- Click on the insert stuff button
- Click on Enter Embed Code
- Paste your code
- Click Next
- Click Insert
- Click Save and Close
