How to download and sign into Canvas Teacher App

This guide will provide instructions to download and sign into the Canvas Teacher app on an iOS or Android device. 

Step-by-Step

1. On your device, download the Canvas Teacher App. 
      
   • Canvas Teacher (Android)
     
     
     
   • Canvas Teacher (iOS) 
     
2. Select the Find My School button
   
3. Connect to your St. Petersburg College Canvas account.
   
   • Search for St. Petersburg College by name (video demo)
   • Type in the St. Petersburg College Canvas URL: canvas.spcollege.edu
     
   • Use a QR code to sign in.
     
     
4. Sign in with your St. Petersburg College credentials. 
   
   
5. The first time you sign into the app, you need to use multi-factor authentication. You can use the Microsoft Authenticator App, a verification code, a text, or a phone call to authenticate your device.

6. Update your notifications. Click allow to allow the Canvas Teacher app to send you notifications. Click don't allow to prevent notifications.
