Canvas - Ingite AI enabled in all courses 11/3! Instructors can request an AI-based evaluation for student replies in Discussions. Then, they can see the evaluation scores and notes in New Speedgrader. Students and instructors can also translate discussions. Ignite AI in Action

Dropout Detective - New feature is LIVE Monday 11/3/2025: Select and send a message to multiple students from the Dropout Detective Dashboard! More info coming soon.

Incompletes in Canvas - Opening up a Course for a Student with an Incomplete, Incomplete Process Step-by-Step Tutorial

Panopto Assignment Folders - Now, Panopto automatically creates a course assignment folder for you, so that your students can submit video assignments and discussions. All you need to do is go into each course at the start of the term and click Panopto from the Course Navigation (Under Third Party Tools). Reach out to onlinevideoservices@spcollege.edu with questions.

Discovery Day 2025 Presentations - Find all of the ATST and IDEAS Discovery Day presentations in the Discovery Day Presentations 2025 page in Faculty Support Group in Titan Hub.

Copyleaks Update - On November 10, 2025, Copyleaks is upgrading its AI detector. You may notice some differentiation in results on scans that are completed before versus after this change. If you are currently using a percentage threshold to uphold policies, you may need recalibrate this number. In other words, you may see an increase in cases on either side of this threshold. 

YouTube Update - For any YouTube videos in your Canvas course, ads may be displayed starting in late Fall 2025 (TBD). There will be a message overlay displayed on YouTube videos in Canvas to alert viewers that ads may be displayed. This message will display before playing the video on the browser.  On the Canvas mobile apps, the message will be displayed at the top of the page.
