The Gradebook Integrity Check custom Canvas tool provides instructors with a consolidated Ungraded Assignments Report, highlighting assignments that are past due and still missing grades, along with how long they’ve been overdue. From a single view, instructors can quickly take action—grading now, assigning zeros, excusing grades, or unpublishing assignments—across large groups of students, making gradebook cleanup and course maintenance far more efficient.

IMPORTANT: You cannot submit final grades with blank cells in your gradebook. All published assignments must have a grade entered, a 0, or be excused.

Note: The Gradebook Integrity Check will populate one week from the due date specified in the assignment.

Important: At the 12.5% mark of the term, faculty who have not yet used the course gradebook will receive a reminder pop-up. If the gradebook remains unused at the 40% mark, a follow-up notification will occur to ensure students are able to see their progress in the course.
