Add Start, Due and End Dates to Topics and Modules

This tutorial will walk you through how to add dates to modules, single topics and multiple topics for pre-existing content in the Course Content area.

Step-by-Step: Set Dates on a Module

  1. Click on Course Content from the Navbar

  2. Click on the Module you would like to add dates 

  3. Click on  Add dates and restrictions.. (If there are dates already there click on dates)

  4. Click on  Add start date..., Add due date or Add End Date... (do not add an end date and a due date, one or the other)

  5. Click on Update


Step-by-Step: Set Dates on a Single Topic in a Module

  1. Click on Course Content from the Navbar

  2. Click on the Module where the item is located

  3. Click on the dropdown arrow dropdown example.pngto the right of the item name

  4. Click on Edit Properties In-place

  5. Click on  Add dates and restrictions.. (If there are dates already there click on dates)

  6. Click on  Add start date..., Add due date or Add End Date... (do not add an end date and a due date, one or the other)

  7. Click on Update


Step-by-Step: Set Dates on Multiple Topics

  1. Click on Course Content from the Navbar

  2. Click on the Module where the items are located

  3. Click on Bulk Edit

  4. Click on  Add dates and restrictions.. (If there are dates already there click on dates)

  5. Click on  Add start date..., Add due date or Add End Date... (do not add an end date and a due date, one or the other)

  6. Click on Done Editing
