Although you can also delete student posts yourself, If you see a student's post that is not appropriate, you can send a private message to the student regarding their post. You may have another reason for sending the student a private message. This tutorial will show you how to send a private message to a student via the discussion area.
Step-by-Step:
- Click on Submissions on the Navbar
- Click on Discussions
- Click on the Discussion Title/Name
- Click on the Title of the Students Thread
To Send a Private Message: - Hover over the student's picture/image
- Click on Send Email
- Enter a Subject and Message
- Click on Send
