How to Add Quiz Attempts for Individual Students

At times you may want to grant a student or students an additional attempt on a quiz. This guide shows you how to use the Special Access feature to grant an additional quiz attempt for specific students. If you want to add an attempt for the whole class, you can edit the attempt settings.

 

Step-by-Step: 

  1. Click on Submissions on the Navbar

  2. Click on Quizzes

  3. Click on the Quiz Title

  4. Click on Restrictions

  5. At the bottom, click on Add Users to Special Access

  6. Under Attempts, check the box next to Override attempts allowed override attempts allowed.png

  7. Click on the drop-down under attempts allowed, change accordingly

  8. Click on Apply

  9. Select the box next to the Student/s that you would like these changes to apply to

  10. Click on Add Special Access

  11. Click on Save and Close
