Special Access for Dropboxes allows for a specific student or group of students to access a dropbox outside of course due date. For example, if a student has an excused absence the week the Dropbox is due, you can set up special access for the student to submit the dropbox when they return.
Step-by-Step:
- Click on Submissions on the Navbar
- Click on Dropboxes
- Click on the drop-down arrow next to the dropbox
- Click on Edit Folder
- Click on the Availability Dates and Conditions arrow on the right of your screen.
- Under the Special Access section, click on the Manage Special Access button.
- Click on the Add Users to Special Access button; a new pop-up window will appear.
- Under Properties, change the dates and times accordingly.
- Scroll down and check the box next to the student(s) the special access dates should be applied to.
- Click the Save button to confirm and close pop-up window.
- Click the Save and Close button to confirm and return to the Dropbox folder.
