If the grades from quizzes are not going into the gradebook, it is likely that you are missing a couple of settings. Once these are corrected, you will still need to move the grades to the gradebook. This is not a manual process, but will still need to be done even after you have corrected the grades not automatically moving into the gradebook.
Step-by-Step:
- Click on Submissions on the Navbar
- Click on Quizzes
- Click on the Name of the Quiz that you need to fix.
- On the right, click Evaluation & Feedback, then check the following boxes shown below:
Click on Save and Close
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to the Quiz Name
- Click on Grade
- Click on the box above the first student's name to select all students in the course, then click Publish
- Click on Save and Close
