Archiving videos in Panopto helps keep your video library organized and removes content that is no longer needed or actively being used. This is especially important as SPC prepares to transition from Panopto to Canvas Studio.
Before the migration, take some time to review your Panopto content and archive videos that are outdated, no longer relevant, were created for temporary purposes, or has No Views. This may include old course recordings, duplicate videos, and student video submissions that are no longer needed.
Cleaning up and archiving unused content now will help make the transition to Canvas Studio smoother and ensure that only useful, relevant video content is carried forward.
