The Import/Export/Copy Components tool is an essential tool that will be used by any faculty member who uses the MyCourses system. This tutorial will walk you through how to copy one quiz into another course using Import/Export/Copy

IMPORTANT: Make SURE you are in the course you would like to copy the quiz TO, not from, before starting this process. 

Step-by-Step: 

  1. Click on Edit Course on the Navbar

  2. Click on Import/Export/Copy Components

  3. Click on Search for offering

  4. In the Search For... box, type in the course where the quiz is located that you want to copy from 

  5. Click Enter or on the Spyglass spyglass.png

  6. Click on the radio button next to the courseradio button.png

  7. Click on Add Selected

  8. Click on Select Components

  9. Check the box next to Quizzes

  10. Click on the radio button next to Select individual items to copy

  11. Click on Continue

  12. Click on Expand All

  13. Check the box next to each quiz you would like to copy

  14. Click on Continue

  15. Click on Finish ( You will see a green check mark when the copy has been completed,green check mark example.png you will see the copied quiz in the submission review area.)

NOTE - When you copy a quiz into a new course, it does not automatically appear in the course content area within a module. It appears under Submission Review>Quizzes and you will need to add it to the module by selecting Add Existing Activities.
