What does Auto-publish attempt results immediately upon completion mean? When this setting is turned on students can see their score as soon as they submit their attempt. The score displayed is only what the system can auto-grade.
If you have any questions that are not automatically grade-able, such as written responses, they will be scored as zero and need to be manually graded. If you have those types of questions, it's better to not set your quiz to auto-grade.
