The gradebook provides an easy way to find out which students have not completed an assignment or who did not do well on an assignment and then easily send an email to those students. You can also find out which students are doing well and send a positive message to those students. This process helps keep the students motivated throughout the course.
Step-by-Step: Send Student Emails Through Gradebook
- Click on Grades on the Navbar
- Click on the drop-down arrow next to the grade item
- Click on Enter Grades
- Click on Grade (This will sort the grades from lowest to highest, click again to flip the order)
- Check the boxes next to the students with no submissions or high grades
- Click on Email
- Enter a Subject and Message
- Click on Send
