Introduction
After you've filled out the Incomplete Request Form, given your student a grade of Incomplete, and added the student to the Incomplete section of your closed course, you still need to grant your student access to his/her work. This guide demonstrates how to do this.
How to Assign To the Incomplete section of your course
- Locate the assignments, quizzes, and/or discussion posts that the student needs to finish and Assign To the Incomplete section.
- Locate the assigment/quiz/discussion and select edit.
- Scroll down to the Assign Access area and select the +Assign To button.
- In the new Assign To box that opens, type or select Incomplete.
- When you're done, the Assign To box should have Incomplete in the Assign To field. You do not need to include dates. This ensures that all students in the Incomplete section have access to the content.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Assignment/Quiz/Discussion screen and select Save.
