The following steps will help guide you through adding video feedback to a dropbox folder submission. Constructive feedback is a great resource to include when evaluating a student submission. Providing feedback using video can help make a personal connection between you and your student.
Step-by-Step:
- Click on Submissions on the Navbar
- Click on Dropboxes
- Click on the drop-down arrow next to the dropbox
- Click on View Submissions
- Click on a Submission for which you wish to provide feedback
- In the Overall Feedback section, click on the Record Video button.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click on the New Recording button to begin recording your feedback. You can also upload a prerecorded video file, using the upload file option.
Note: Your browser may ask for permission to use your camera. - Click the Stop Record to finish your feedback.
- Use the video playback controls to view your recording. If you want to you can select the New Recording button again to redo your video recording.
- If you are satisfied with the video feedback, click on the Add button.
- You will be presented with a new window where you can enter the audio tile, description, audio language selection, and add automatic captions, click on the Add button.
Note: you must select an Audio Language to be able to select the generate captions options. - You will see the following Attachment in the feedback area.
- Click on the Publish button
