Dropboxes that utilize Turnitin require start and end dates, or Turnitin may not function properly. This tutorial will walk you through the process of adding dates to dropboxes with Turnitin enabled. If no start or end date is assigned to the dropbox with Turnitin enabled; MyCourses will default the start date to the date the dropbox was created and the end date to 1 week and 24 hours after the dropbox was created.

Step-by-Step: 

  1. Click on Submission Review on the Navbar.
  2. Click on Dropboxes.
  3. Click on New Folder or Edit Folder of an existing dropbox with Turnitin.
  4. Click on the arrow next to Availability Dates and Conditions on the right of your screen.
  5. Set Start Date and End Date (What is the Difference between Start, Due, and End Dates?).

  6. Click on the Save and Close button.
