When activated, the Anonymous Marking feature will only see the name ‘anonymous user’ on the user and submission tab when grading a Dropbox. Anonymous Marking can be used to reduce bias when grading but must be enabled before students submit to that Dropbox.
Step-by-Step:
- Click on Submissions on the Navbar
- Click on Dropboxes
- Click on the drop-down arrow next to an existing Dropbox
- Or select the New Folder to create a new Dropbox and go to step 5
- Or select the New Folder to create a new Dropbox and go to step 5
- Click on Edit Folder
- Click on Evaluation & Feedback on the right of your screen
- Under Anonymous Marking check the box next to Hide student names during the assessment
- Click Save & Close

- You will see the following icon next to any Dropbox that has Anonymous marking selected
