Student Survey of Instruction (SSI) Spring 2026 8 Week 2 Pilot Information 

If your course is part of the Spring 2026/660 8 Week 2 pilot for the new Student Survey of Instruction system, see the below information. Everyone else, please scroll down to Student Survey of Instruction Info

How to Access SSI as an Instructor: 

Method One: Through Canvas

  1. Inside Canvas, select your profile photo in the Global Navigation (1) and then select SSI Course Evaluation (2).

  2. This brings you to the SSI Evaluations and Tasks page, where you'll see all of your courses. If you have only one, then you'll see only one, etc. Click on a course in the SSI Evaluations and Tasks page to open it. 

Method Two: Through SPC's Blue Homepage

  1. Sign in via Single Sign On/SSO.
  2. Select Manage My Courses.

Navigating Inside SSI

  • Select Manage your Courses to see your courses (1). 
  • Select Reports to view SSI reports (2). 
    • Note: SSI reports will be made available 2 weeks after the SSI survey closes for students. However, for the pilot, it may take slightly longer than 2 weeks.

The Student Survey of Instruction is an electronic survey that students complete and find in their course in Canvas at the end of the term. This guide includes some helpful information about that process and how faculty can engage with students.
