There are times that you may need to adjust a student’s grade or add grades to a gradebook item manually. There are multiple ways to enter or edit grades manually into either a Points or Weighted gradebook.
Step-by-Step: Manually Grade One Grade Item
- Click on Grades on the Navbar
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to the Grade Item
- Click on Enter Grades
- Type in the Grade field the New grade or Edit the Grade already there
- Click on Save and Close
- Click on Yes
Step-by-Step: Manually Edit a grade item for an Individual Student
- Click on Grades on the Navbar
- Click on Enter Grades
- Click on the Name of the Student you would like to add grades or edit
- Type in the Grade field the New grade or Edit the Grade already there
- Click on Save and Close
- Click on Yes
Step-by-Step: Edit Grades in Spreadsheet View
- Click on Grades on the Navbar
- Click on Enter Grades
- Click on Switch to Spreadsheet View (This will allow you to add/edit any grade in the gradebook)
- Click on Save
- Click on Yes
