There are times that you may need to adjust a student’s grade or add grades to a gradebook item manually. There are multiple ways to enter or edit grades manually into either a Points or Weighted gradebook.


Step-by-Step: Manually Grade One Grade Item 

  1. Click on Grades on the Navbar
  2. Click on the dropdown arrow  next to the Grade Item
  3. Click on Enter Grades
  4. Type in the Grade field the New grade or Edit the Grade already there
  5. Click on Save and Close
  6. Click on Yes


Step-by-Step: Manually Edit a grade item for an Individual Student

  1. Click on Grades on the Navbar
  2. Click on Enter Grades
  3. Click on the Name of the Student you would like to add grades or edit
  4. Type in the Grade field the New grade or Edit the Grade already there
  5. Click on Save and Close
  6. Click on Yes


Step-by-Step: Edit Grades in Spreadsheet View

  1. Click on  Grades on the Navbar
  2. Click on Enter Grades
  3. Click on Switch to Spreadsheet View (This will allow you to add/edit any grade in the gradebook)
  4. Click on Save
  5. Click on Yes
