Within Survey Builder you have the option to Clone an Existing Survey and make edits, instead of starting from scratch every time. 

 

Step-by-Step: 

  1. Click on Create

  1. Click on Clone an existing survey

  1. Click in the dropdown area to select the survey you wish to clone
  2. Click on Clone Survey
  3. Your Contact information will be auto-filled.  Notice the word Clone in the title.  You will now need to make your edits.test survey builder sections.png
  4. Click edit to change the title
  5. Your Contact information will auto-populate, click edit to make any changes
  6. Click edit to Enter Instructions for the survey if any
  7. Click close now to inactivate the new cloned survey
  8. This is the new cloned survey link
  9. Click on the Questions tab

  1. This is where you will be editing any questions as needed for your new survey.  Click on the pencil icon to edit.

  1. To add addition questions, click on Add

  1. Select the Question Type by clicking on the drop-down arrow next to the Question Type

  1. Fill out the question type that you selected, and be sure to complete the settings area under the question.  Each question type will have different setting options.
  2. Click on Save Question
  3. Repeat steps 6-8 until you have added all questions needed
  4. Click on Access

  1. Edit the Open and Close dates if needed
  2. Click on Preview, to view the survey
  3. Click on Survey details to get a link to the survey to distribute for completion
