Once you have created your Attendance Register in one class, you can easily copy it to another class using the Import/Export/Copy Components feature.
Remember - Faculty must manually enter their student's attendance in MySPC. The MyCourses attendance feature that this guide refers to is an optional, additional attendance tracker available for you to track your student's attendance.
Step-by-Step:
***Make sure you are in the course shell where you would like to copy the attendance register TO before proceeding.
- Click on Edit Course in the Navbar
- Click on Import/Export/Copy Components
- Click on Search for Offering
- Type the course or keywords of the course you would like to copy the attendance register from
- Click on Enter, or the spyglass
- Click on the button next to the course
- Click on Add Selected
- Click on Select Components
- Click on the box next to Attendance Registers
- Click on the radio button next to Select Individual items to copy
- Click on Continue
- Check the box next to the attendance register you would like to copy
- Click on Continue
- Click on Finish (You will see it processing, and see a checkmark when it is complete. , Proceed to Reports, and Attendance to see the copy)
