From the Waffle Menu icon at the top of your MyCourses, you can view and organize your courses. Note: You have both professional development courses, and the courses you are assigned to teach, in your MyCourses account. Pinning means that the course will stay at the top of the menu.
Note: You can change order of pinned courses in your account. To re-order your pinned course, first unpin all courses, then re-pin the courses you would like pinned, in the order you would like them to be displayed. First pinned will appear first on the Waffle Menu and My Courses Widget.
Step-by-Step: Find Your Courses from the Waffle Menu
- Click on the Waffle Menu icon
- Search for or locate the course you would like to pin. There are two ways to locate:
- Search using keywords for the courses you are looking for and click enter (For example; Semester (540), Prefix ENC1101, Section #, etc.)
- Scroll through your listed courses if no search bar is present.
- Search using keywords for the courses you are looking for and click enter (For example; Semester (540), Prefix ENC1101, Section #, etc.)
- When you find the course you would like to see at the top of your listed courses, click on the Thumb Tack icon. A Hollow thumb tacks icon mean the course is unpinned.
You will now see those pinned courses at the top of your waffle menu list, as well as under "pinned" in the My Courses widget on your MyCourses home page.
