Release Conditions: Students Must Complete Quiz to Unlock Course Content

Step-by-Step: 

1. Click on Course Content on the Navbar
   
   
2. Click on the First Module you would like to hide
   
   
3. Click on Add dates and restrictions... 
   
   
   
4. Under Release Conditions, Click on Create 
   
   
   
5. Click on the drop-down arrow next to --Select Condition Type--
   
   
   
6. Under Quizzes, Click on Score on a quiz
   
   
7. Under Quiz, Click on the drop-down arrow next to ---Select Quiz---
   
   
   
8. Click on the Quiz Title
   
   
9. Click on the drop-down arrow under criteria
   
   
   
10. Select the Criteria
    
    
11. Enter a Grade
    
    
12. Click on Create
    
    
13. Click on Update
    
    
14. Click on Next Module you would like to hide until the same criteria have been met.  
    
    
15. Click on Add dates and restrictions..
    
    
16. Under Release Conditions, click on Browse 
    
    
17. Check the box next to the release condition that you would like to add
    
    
    
18. Click on Attach
    
    
19. Click on Update
    
    
20. Repeat steps 14-19 to all remaining modules you wish to add the condition to

This will place the condition on the module itself. If you have discussions, quizzes, or dropboxes within the module, you will want to place the condition on those as well. Otherwise, students will be able to access these items from the Submission Review area in your course. 

To do this, follow the steps below.

1. Click on Add dates and restrictions.. under the discussion/quiz/dropbox
   
   
2. Under Release Conditions, click on Browse
   
   
3. Check the box next to the release condition that you would like to add
   
   
   
4. Click on Attach
   
   
5. Click on Update
   
   
6. Repeat Steps 1-5 for each discussion/quiz/dropbox within each module you would like to hide until the condition has been met
