Getting Started
- Start with understanding the BlueX survey lifecycle and navigating the homepage to get oriented before building anything.
Design Your Survey
- Learn how workspaces organize your projects, then select, modify, or create a template as your starting point.
- Follow the steps to create your survey, choosing between a confidential survey or a fully anonymous survey depending on your needs.
- Once the setup is decided, refine and select your respondents and, if desired, add interactive widgets to enrich the experience.
Creating and Building the Questionnaire
- Create question titles and build out the full questionnaire, or save time by importing an existing Qualtrics survey.
Adding Questions to Your Questionnaire
- Get an overview of adding questions to your questionnaire, then choose the right type: choice, comment box, numeric, date/time, or scale questions.
- For more advanced formats, explore media upload questions, question grids, function components, and mathematical equations within questions.
Add Logic to Your Questionnaire
- Start with the overview of applying logic to your questionnaire, then use show and hide logic or custom area and fork logic to route respondents down different paths.
- Fine-tune the experience by randomizing question order and inserting previous responses or respondent information into later questions.
- For advanced setups, learn to duplicate a question based on a previous response, configure an A/B test, and set the conditions that drive your logic rules.
Customize the Look and Feel of Your Form
- Customize the overall look and feel of your form and organize content with headings and page breaks for readability.
- Personalize your questionnaire with respondent information and customize your thank you page for a polished finish.
Respondent Management
- Select your respondents and either create a contact list or upload your respondents directly.
- Select respondent data to include in the survey and configure the emails sent to respondents.
Share, Preview, Send, and Monitor
- Share the survey for review by selecting users to share it with, then keep track of it through accessing and managing shared surveys.
- Before launch, preview your survey and test it thoroughly, then send it out when ready.
- If changes are needed afterward, see how to modify a published survey and create versions.
-
Once responses start coming in, monitor your survey and export and download the responses when complete.
