Titan Video, powered by Panopto, is a screen recording, video creation, and video hosting software that integrates with MyCourses.

  • All faculty members including adjuncts are eligible for a Panopto Account.

  • Panopto lets you upload or create videos, edit and add captions, and then share with students via a link or by adding the video directly to a course using the Insert Stuff buttoninsert stuff icon.png

  • To activate your Titan Video Panopto account, register and complete the on-demand course following the steps below,  then complete a short survey. The MyCourses4Faculty team will then activate your account!

How to register for the Faculty Titan Video On-demand course

  1. Click the blue MyCourses Logo mycourses logo.pngat the top left on any page in MyCourses
  2. Click On-Demand Workshops
  3. Search Intro to Panopto in the search field, the Intro course will populate
  4. Click the Enroll in Course button, you know you have been enrolled when it states Already Enrolled and the button text changes to Open Course
  5. Click the Open Course button and complete the course at your own pace.

You can also use the Waffle Menu icon to search for and enter Intro to Panopto Workshop. If you have a search bar, type "Panopto" and you will see the course listed.  

     

Note to Ensemble Account Holders:

  • Ensemble videos used in courses will still be present in your courses and any links will still work without re-embedding or re-sharing with students. Contact Jackson.Rachael@spcollege.edu for any questions regarding Ensemble Videos.
