Printing a Quiz Using Respondus

Respondus makes it easy to print your quizzes from MyCourses. You can print the quiz with the answer key, the quiz without the answer key, or just the quiz using Respondus. If you have never used Respondus, you will need to complete the Introduction to Respondus On-Demand Workshop to obtain a license and receive installation instructions. 

Quizzes must be active in your course before completing these steps.


Step-by-Step: Extracting Quiz from MyCourses

  1. Open Respondus 4.0 from your computer
  2. Click on Retrieval

  3. Click on Retrieve Questions
     

  4. Click on Next. (Make sure your settings are correct, including your password.  You will have to update your password every time you change it in MyCourses. To edit, click on Edit Settings)

  1. Click on the dropdown arrow under Choose Course to Retrieve from and select the course where the quiz is located that you wish to print


  2. Click on the dropdown arrow under Retrieve Assessment Type, next to Quiz and select the quiz you wish to print
  3. Enter a Title for the Quiz, located in Enter a name for the new file

  4. Click on Next
  5. Click on Finish

 

Step-by-Step: Printing a Quiz

  1. After retrieving the quiz, click on the Preview & Publish tab review and publish.png

  2. Click on Print Options

  3. Select Format

    1. Exam - includes only the questions and answer choices for the quiz

    2. Exam with Answer Key - includes the questions, answer choices, and answer key for the quiz

    3. Answer Key Only - includes only a list of answers for the quiz

  4. Options
    • Print Preview – Click to Preview prior to Printing

    • Save to File – Click to Save the file to Computer

    • Send to Printer – Click to Print
